Alaves vs Real Madrid Prediction & Betting Tip

Alaves vs Real Madrid Predictions for this Saturday’s clash in the Basque Country in La Liga. Our betting tips suggest Los Blancos will bag all the points.

Alaves vs Real Madrid
When: 29th October, 15:15
Where: Estadio de Mendizorroza
Prediction: Real Madrid to Win & Both Teams to Score at 8/5 with bet365
Correct Score Prediction: Real Madrid to Win 3-1 at 9/1 with bet365

Real Madrid come into this game top of La Liga and having won their last 4 matches but the team’s inability to keep a clean sheet is becoming a real issue. It’s just 1 clean sheet in 12 matches now for Los Blancos and both teams have scored in all of their last 8 games so there is genuine reason to believe that Alaves will get on the score-sheet here. Against the weaker team Real Madrid have still generally been able to outscore the opposition and that is likely to be the case again here but with games against Atleti and Barca coming up in the next month or so, they badly need to improve at the back.

Alaves have already got results against those two clubs since returning to the top flight this term so Real Madrid will have to be a bit wary of them. They are unbeaten at home too but 3 of their 4 matches in Vitoria have been drawn and they haven’t played anyone stronger than mid-table Malaga at their own ground so you’d still expect Real Madrid’s extra class to show. The Basques have collected just 1 point from their last 3 games and put in their worst performance of the season last time out, losing 3-o at Real Sociedad, so they don’t come into this game in the best of spirits.

If they defend like that again, Real Madrid should win this with a degree of comfort. Although the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema haven’t hit top form yet, they arguably pose a bigger all-round goal threat this term. The return to the club of Marco Asensio and Alvaro Morata has provided Zidane with extra options and the youngsters are actually the club’s joint top scorers this term now ,after both bagged braces in the Copa del Rey in midweek but they are likely to drop back to the bench here.

You don’t get much value by backing Real Madrid to win outright in this one. However, given both teams have scored in 78% of Real Madrid’s games in La Liga this season and in 11 of their last 12 matches overall, backing Real Madrid to Win & Both Teams to Score at 8/5 looks to offer exceptionally good value.

HEAD TO HEAD
It is a decade since the clubs last met but Real Madrid have won all of the last 5 meetings.

STATS
Both teams have scored in 67% of Alaves matches in La Liga this season. Real Madrid have won and both teams have scored in all of their last 4 matches.

TEAM NEWS
Theo Hernandez returns from suspension and should play at left wing-back. Victor Laguardia is injured so Zouhair Feddal should come in at centre-back.

Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo are all expected to return to the side having been rested in the Copa del Rey. Isco looks set to keep his place in midfield with Mateo Kovacic rather than James Rodriguez alongside him. Dani Carvajal is suspended so Danilo should play at right-back.

Prediction: Real Madrid to Win & Both Teams to Score at 8/5 with bet365
Correct Score Prediction: Real Madrid to Win 3-1 at 9/1 with bet365
